Fair Play
August 30–September 5

Each year, the Fulton County Fair at Wauseon’s fairgrounds hosts a fantastic array of entertainment—and this year is no different. Along with livestock events, truck pulls and carnival rides, this ticketed fair features the Butterfly Effect interactive display with hundreds of butterflies, live music from Granger Smith and Foreigner, and an educational firefighter show, just to name a few of the hot tickets.

Get Your Greek On
September 6–8

Immerse yourself in Greek culture at Toledo’s 49th Annual Greek American Festival at the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Cathedral. Dine on authentic foods, enjoy cooking demonstrations, and watch traditional dances such as the syrtaki or hasapiko. Gourd of the Rings

On the hunt for the perfect pumpkin? Head to Emswiler Farms in Pataskala for Pumpkinpalooza, a daylong festival featuring hayrides, carousels, bounce houses, food, crafts, games and a whole lot of pumpkins. Where’s the Boeuf?
September 28

Where’d the Roche de Boeuf Parade, Car Show and Festival get its name? A large rock outcropping in the nearby Maumee River. The annual festival kicks off with the Roche de Boeuf Parade at 10 a.m. as bands and local groups weave their way through downtown Waterville. After the parade, visitors can head to the festival with its historic Pioneer Village, a car show presenting everything from antiques to customs, and loads of food and entertainment. watervillechamber.com

Off the Port Side
October 5

Make your way to the winery on the Doller House Estate in Put-in-Bay to sample foreign and domestic wines at the 15th Annual Island Wine Festival. Choose from a selection of more than 250 wines, including island wines from Put-in-Bay’s own winery. An Apple a Day
October 5–6

Celebrate the arrival of autumn at MacQueen Orchards’ Apple Stir & Crafts Festival, a tradition in Holland since 1982. Boo/Beer
October 26

Are you looking for a safe environment where your kids can trick-or-treat? Want to see them take part in a delightful costume parade? Then head to downtown Perrysburg for OctoBOOfest.
